The slings are absolutely necessary for non-automatic hot galvanizing process. However its use has some disadvantages, for example, difficultly skimming zinc ash on molten zinc surface and influencing surface quality, more forming zinc slag due to the reaction between sling and molten zinc, increasing the iron content in molten zinc and decreasing its fluidness. After several times of use, the zinc on sling must be removed in acid and thus zinc and acid is greatly wasted. To counter the abovementioned problems, referring to foreign experience, Xinyue Company has investigated and developed “special protective coating of sling for galvanizing operation” and solved the abovementioned problems. The product is widely used and well received by vast factories. Many factories think that it is a high and new technical product and deserves strong popularization. After using the product, the zinc and acid consumption is distinctly decreased, the quality of the galvanized products is raised and the service life of sling is prolonged. It fills in the gap of hot galvanizing trade.
Using method:
Uniformly apply the well stirred protective coating on dry sling whose rust has been completely removed.
After being half dry state, apply the coating again to it, total thickness of two layers is controlled as 500μm.
Natural dryness is for more than 24 h.
Slow heating up to 300℃ for solidification.
Natural cooling is conducted to normal temperature.
