      Galvanizing agent is an important process in pre-treatment of hot dip galvanizing; it can not only make up shortage of the front process and active surface of steel then lift galvanizing quality, which is not exit in other technics of steel anti-corrosion. It affects the quality of coating directly and can reduce zinc consumption and production cost.
      Principle of additive for galvanizing agent:
      Additive for galvanizing agent is composed of active agent with low surface tension, cleanser for Si, S, P on surface of metal、dewatering agent for workpiece、Fe2+complexant, etc. It can clean the surface of steel, remove ferrous salt and oxide left on surface of workpiece from rinsing after pickling, which can increase surface activity of workpiece when immersed into molten zinc, and prolong time of workpiece becoming rust during period of workpiece from fluxing into zinc kettle.
      Capability of additive for galvanizing agent:
      1、The workpiece will be wettable and react with molten zinc quickly.
      2、Temperature of galvanizing agent is affected by this additive.
      The traditional temperature of galvanizing agent should be controlled within 60-80℃. When temperature below 60℃, the salt film on surface of workpiece after fluxing is not easy to dry, so zinc detonation is easy to appear; the temperature is too low may make the galvanizing agent has low activity, which can not clean the surface of workpiece, meanwhile, the salt film on surface of workpiece is not enough, the effect of galvanizing become bad, so the quality thickness should be increased,. When the temperature above 80oC,the galvanizing agent may pile on surface of workpiece and produce a double layer structure, which may lead to zinc detonation, increasing coating player thickness, increasing zinc ash, higher temperature may consume more heat energy, this additive for galvanizing agent can reduce drying temperature and drying time obviously, besides, it can reduce salt film on surface of workpiece, reduce zinc detonation and shorten galvanizing time.
      3、Impurity content galvanizing agent is affected by this additive.
      This additive can complex Fe ion to deposit in galvanizing agent, so the Fe ion brought into zinc kettle by workpiece is few, which can reduce zinc slags that produce. Besides, the quality of water to mix galvanizing agent should be paid attention to, the effect of fluxing is influenced if quality of water is too hard, that is to say, Ca, Mg ion is too much, and this additive can solve this problem. 
      4、Aluminium content galvanizing agent is affected by this additive
      When there is a quantity of aluminium in molten zinc, it will react with NH4Cl in salt film of galvanizing agent, and produce ALCl3,which depress effect of this salt film, at this time, workpiece may not be wettable in molten zinc, and galvanizing-missing may appear. As to galvanizing agent under a technics condition, the molten zinc has a maximal safety aluminium content, according to experience of many galvanizing factory,in molten zinc, when wAl≤0.006%-0.007%,quality thickness of zinc chloridize and ammonium chloride in galvanizing agent should remain at 200-300g/L. when ammonium in molten zinc is too high, the quality thickness of NH4Cl in galvanizing agent should be increase. The additive for galvanizing agent produced by our company can dissolve alumina, by which quantity of ammonium chloride is unnecessary to increase,  it can form a thin oxide film on surface of molten zinc, in which wAl is lower than 0.04%. which can not only avoid oxidation of molten zinc and have no influence to fluxing effect, but also reduce the smoke.
      This high efficient additive is widely used at area of shape steel, steel structure, cast iron, ball iron, malleable iron, steel thread etc. It can remove impurity on surface of workpiece and get good effect. 
      Using method:
      Your production system is unnecessary to be redesigned when use this additive, it can be directly added into fluxing kettle.
      When the consistency of this additive exceeds 1.5%,the wettability can be improved greatly,  increase the consistency continuously, the wettability increases a little, but the increase range is small. So in order to keep stability of galvanizing agent, the adding quantity of it is proposed to be 1.5%of solution quantity in fluxing kettle.
      Notice:
      1、Flush with water if it touch the skin.
      2、Flush 15 minutes with water if it splashes into eyes.
      3、During galvanizing dipping, a light odor may be produced from thermolysis of surfactant, which is not harmful to body.
